2010 Season Scheduled - The 2010 Leona Valley Gymkhana season is set to begin on Jan 30th. Registration fees remain at $4.00 per rider per event. If you have more than two riders in your immediate family, the additional riders pay only $3.00 per rider per event. Click on the Calendar button to the left to see the 2010 schedule.
New Rules - Sign-ups begin at 8:00 AM and will close at 8:45. Also, starting this year, all riders must belong to the Leona Valley Improvement Association. Your family will be able to join the association when you register for the gymkhana at the arena. Membership is only $40 per family or $25 for an individual. A membership form is available at the Leona Valley Town Council web site, here.
Coming Soon - Some new events will be added to some of the gymhanas this season (after January) for some added fun! More information about this will be announced at the January Gymkhana!
Rain Dates - Rain dates for this season will be February 6th and June 12th. If the January gymkhana gets rained out, plan on riding on the 6th of Feb. If another gymkhana gets rained out, then June 12th will be the makeup date.
2010 Gymkhana Queens Crowned - The 2010 Leona Valley Gymkhana Queen's were crowned on October 18th.

Olivia Eaves' Horse, Kid, Retires - Olivia announced that her horse, Kid, has retired from Barrel Racing due to arthritis in his ankle. He is still a great trail horse and friend and living a happy life. We will miss seeing Kid at future Leona Valley Gymkhana shows. High Resolution Pictures - Pictures from the May 17 gymkyhana are in the gallery. This time the photos have been uploaded in high resolution. Also, I added a shopping cart function to make it easy to download several pictures at once. Just add any photos you want to the cart and they will all be packaged up in a single zip file. The pictures are free to download, but only pictures from the May 17th gymkhana are in high res.
